OH– Sorry I just– I’m in a library and I’m reverting to, um, help desk mode, ahaha.

Riko’s frown was as chilly as ever as she turned back to the computer.

… Timaeus. Does this do anything useful?
Tim thinks.

Well, lemme see… Looks like a Sirsi Dynix system, that’s… a bit overkill for a collection of this size? No indication of an internet connection, and the browser’s locked to the web client–
Riko speaks.

So it doesn’t do anything useful.
Timaeus huffs.
Timaeus
Well it’s a catalog! Useful if you want to find the book you’re looking for–
Riko snarls.
Riko
Yes, and a lump of paper’s going to get us out of a literal space station.
Yusra thinks.
Yusra
Hey, there might be a manual or blueprints, you know.
Timaeus frowns.
Timaeus
Um… sorry. Looks like it’s all pop fiction or literary classics except for the academic journals over there. But I’ll keep an eye out in case they’re shelved incorrectly!
Yusra gasps.

Wait, you can tell all of that just from looking?

My half-second moment of pride deflated instantly under Riko’s withering glare. She walked off silently, probably to pursue other avenues of escape. Yusra smiled apologetically before turning to leave as well.

Ah, sorry, she’s… Thank you for the help, anyway.
Tim laughs nervously.

I didn’t really get to talk to either of them… At least Yusra was nice about it, I guess.
